Growing up in a bucolic town a few hours north of Philadelphia, this child dreamed of exploring the world. In my youth, I trekked across the USA’s contiguous states over summer vacations with my parents, both teachers. After graduating from university with a degree in history and comparative religion, I lived in New York and then Los Angeles. Now I am an ex-pat working in London.

Which brings me to my passion for travel, this craft of writing and finding my voice through this travel diary of a wannabe globe trekker. My American multi-national employer funds my travel-habit in exchange for my time and expertise. I dream of new adventures, seeing the world and spreading a bit of kindness and goodwill to the places I visit. With no entrenched principles except respect of difference and value for life, all of my other opinions are subject and likely to change for fun and without notice.
